Home – School Partnership Agreement

As a school, we will endeavour to:
• Encourage your child to do their best at all times
• Strive to promote each child’s health, safety and happiness
• Make each lesson count and provide a stimulating exciting curriculum taught with inspiration
• Foster a caring attitude where your child will be encouraged to respect his/her surroundings,   belongings and others within the school community
• Keep you informed about school activities through weekly newsletters and notices of special events
• Set, mark and monitor clearly explained homework tasks
• Ensure smooth transitions when entering our foundation class and also between Key Stages.

As a pupil, I promise to:
• Attend school and help my parents to get me to school on time every day
• Do my class work and homework to the best of my ability and I will ask if I require help with homework
• Wear my school uniform with pride and be polite, helpful and considerate to others
• Respect school property and keep the school free from litter
• I will always follow our gospel values and be proud of my school when I represent Holy Trinity CE Primary School

As a parent or carer, I will endeavour to:
• Make sure my child attends school and arrives punctually by 8.50 a.m., properly equipped for the school day and wearing full school uniform
• Notify the school promptly of reasons for absences
• Only take holidays during school holiday times
• Support the school through the fostering of a caring attitude and the promotion of positive behaviour
• Inform the school of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work, health or attitude
• Demonstrate interest in my child’s school-life and support him/her with homework and other activities
• Become actively involved in the life of the school e.g. P.T.A, supporting school functions, volunteering
• Be polite and respectful to all members of the school community.

Through our partnership we all agree to:
• Inform each other of any concerns or problems which may
impact on school-life
• Maintain an open, frank and positive dialogue
• Meet together at parent/pupil/teacher consultation
evenings, celebrate learning achievements
and identify ‘next steps’
• Follow school rules and procedures and understand that
there is a consequence if these are broken
• Encourage pride in being a member of the community
of Holy Trinity CE Primary School.
