Examples of required style and colours are available in the school office.
‘Plain’ is defined as no fashion embellishments, no contrasting colours, stripes or markings, no advertisements or brand logos.
Parents should take care to ensure that all fastenings enable their child to dress and undress independently
Children are expected to be smartly presented during the course of the day and to take pride in their appearance at all times.
All items of clothing must be clearly marked with the child’s name.
The school prohibits the use of make-up, nail varnish and the wearing of jewellery including earrings with the exception of small stud earrings which will need to be removed by the child for PE activities. A small watch may be worn.
All children with long hair must have it tied back. No vibrant hair colouring, cut in motifs or patterns to hair styles or gel sculptured hair styles are permitted. All hair accessories must be plain and either red, charcoal grey, or red and white checked in colour.
Adhering to the school uniform policy is compulsory.
Any child unsuitably presented will need to be collected and properly attired prior to being readmitted to school. The school reserves the right to temporarily exclude pupils who persistently do not comply with the stipulated dress code.
