Visit Our School

If you are interested in your child attending Holy Trinity, do please get in touch with the school office to request a viewing. The Headteacher likes to welcome all perspective new parents and will show you around the school, sometimes with the help of the Head Girl and Boy.

If your child is a mid year application or transferring from another school, we will invite them in for a 'transition morning' where they will be buddied up and spend a morning in their new class, getting to know the school a little. This takes place within a week of joining.

New reception parents and pupils are invited to view the school during two open events in October and November. Advertisements will be sent out to local nurseries and displayed in school nearer the time.

If for some reason the dates offered are not suitable, it may still be possible to view the school on another occasion, so do get in touch.

Online Admissions
Parents and carers who live in the Essex County Council area can apply for their child’s school place online using the Essex Online Admissions Service via the Essex County Council link given below.

The online application system has a number of benefits for parents and carers:
You can access related information through links on the website to find out more about individual schools, such as home to school transport or inspection reports; when you have submitted your application you will receive an email confirming this; you will be told the outcome of your online application by email on offer day if you requested this when you applied.

Below you will find a copy of this year's Primary School application brochure. Page 5 gives a useful timetable of admissions to help you keep track of your application.

Mid Year Admissions

You can apply to change your child's school during the school year. This is called a mid-year admission.

Your child is not guaranteed a place at your preferred school. You should not remove your child from their school before you have received another offer.

We recommend that you:

  • speak to your child's current teacher or headteacher before applying to another school
  • contact the schools you are interested in before making a decision to move house or submit an application

Mid year applications can be completed online:
