It is our policy that all children should wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised event outside normal school hours.

Aims and objectives
Our school Uniform policy is based on the notion that a school uniform:
promotes a sense of pride in the school;
engenders a feeling of community and belonging;
is practical and smart;
identifies the children with the school;
is not distracting in class (as fashion clothes might be);
makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
is regarded as suitable, and good value for money, by most parents;
has been designed with health and safety in mind.

Boys:
Grey trousers or grey tailored shorts
White shirt or polo shirt
Red sweatshirt or V-neck jumper
White or grey socks
Flat black shoes (not trainers, boots or sandals)
Girls:
Grey skirt or pinafore Grey trousers or grey tailored shorts
Red and white gingham summer dresses (no playsuits)
White blouse/shirt or polo shirt
Red sweatshirt, cardigan or V-neck jumper
Grey, or white socks/winter tights
Flat black shoes (not trainers, boots or sandals)
Boys/Girls PE:
Indoor –Round necked plain T-shirt in house colour (white T-shirts not permitted from September 2020)
Black shorts
Black plimsolls (non-marking soles)
Outdoor – Tracksuit or jogging bottoms and sweatshirt in black
Trainers – any colour.
Trousers: These should be tailored school trousers not leggings or jogging bottoms. Skirts: These should be knee length and not tight fitting jersey material. .
Shorts and gingham dresses are permitted during the summer term and up to the end of the autumn first half term (October).
