Welcome

Welcome to Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, Eight Ash Green and Aldham.

Holy Trinity C of E Primary School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.

Through our aspirational and engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum; where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success and reach their full potential.

The school has a dedicated and caring team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the local community and the other schools both locally and within our Consortium. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and value your interest and support.

I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities that you need. It will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us.

Kind Regards

Ceri Daniels

Headteacher

Being a Church School: The former Archbishop of Canterbury explains :

“A Christian school is one in which the atmosphere has that kind of openness about it, that sense that people are worth spending time with, that people need time to grow, need loving attention. The Christian Gospel says that every person has a unique task to do, with God, and for God, whether they know it or not. It doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone involved has to share the same theology or philosophy. It doesn’t mean that everyone knows that they have this relationship with God, and is consciously working at it. But a Christian school is one in which the entire atmosphere is pervaded by a conviction that there is something mysterious, and potentially wonderful, in everybody.”

The Tiptree & Stanway Consortium

Holy Trinity belongs to the Tiptree and Stanway consortium, which is a group of 24 school in the Colchester area.  Once a term, the Heads of the schools meet and discuss relevant educational issues, receive training and provide a network of support.
